Disabled Visitors
Oakwood is a place for everyone! Oakwood welcomes disabled visitors and wants them to have the same amount of fun everyone else does! Below is information for disabled visitors visiting Oakwood, and what they should expect.

Parking & Entering The Park
Outside the entrance tills (towards the right) there are disabled parking bays which are available to disabled badge holders only. Entrance is discounted (prices here) and one carer is allowed into the park free-of-charge per disabled visitor.
Wheel Chair Hire
Wheel Chairs can be hired from the Whistle Stop Shop, a limited number are available and a £10.00 deposit is required.
Ride Accessibility
At most of the rides at the park you'll be required to use the exit as these are usually ramps, (some rides such as The Snake River Falls & The Water Falls will not be accessible by Disabled Visitors as they only have steps to the top), here you should wait for assistance from the right operator. Large groups of disabled visitors may be asked to divide their party into smaller groups for safety reasons and the comfort of other guests. You're waiting time will usually be shorter than other riders.  All riders must be capable of understanding and complying with the safety instructions given. One carer per disabled visitor is allowed to ride with the disabled visitor, all other non-disabled members of the group must join the back of the normal queueing system.
Toliets
Toliets with disabled facilities/access are available at The Whistle Stop, First Aid, and behind The Waterfall near the exit of Speed.
Large Disabled Groups
We advise all large disabled groups to pre-book entry to the park (you can still pay on the day) by calling (01834) 861889. You can also ask any other relevant questions/queries you have about your trip your trip through this number.
